Dr. Brad Woodring has lived in Eagle River for more than twenty years. He graduated from University of Mississippi Dental School in 1989 and initially served for eight years as a Public Health Service Dentist in Kotzebue, Nome, and Anchorage, Alaska.
In 1993, Dr. Woodring and his wife, Mary, moved to Eagle River, where he served as Field Director for the Anchorage Service Unit. He then completed a General Practice Residency, and entered private practice in 1998.
Dr. Woodring is a member of the Alaska Dental Society and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a leader in the field of CAD/CAM dentistry, also known as CEREC, and is a member of the CEREC mentor group, which helps to teach others about this technology. Dr. Woodring uses the same CAD/CAM technology in the placement and restoration of dental implants.
In his free time, Dr. Woodring enjoys exploring the great state of Alaska with his wife and children. He volunteers his time with a local Boy Scout troop, and he enjoys photography, woodworking, and playing the guitar.
